DVD settings...

I just tried the FCP3 movie file...it wouldn't drag and drop into iDVD...it's a crying shame too, because it exported from FCP3 about 3 times faster as an FCP movie than it does as a Quicktime. But unfortunately, it just wasn't in the cards. Are there certain settings it has to be on?

i just did a few quick experiements and i think the format that would be best is quicktime, for video compression chose dv -ntsc (or dv -pal for non usa) - fps 29.97 for sure and NO keyframes! keyframes allow the compressor to cheat, it only records a full frame on a keyframe, then it inbetweens the others and records only the changes ffrom one to another. that is exactly what was causing the trails i bet! good luck - pK

There was no error message. It just didn't drag and drop. I think. I'm going to try to import through the file menu tomorrow though.
